Cool Dining at Brasserie

Print Email

I’ve got a special dinner appointment with someone special tonight, so I wanted to find a cool, chic, pretty spot with a relaxing ambiance. My choice of fine dining was therefore Brasserie Restaurant, which serves Belgium-French cuisine.

Upon my first step into the restaurant, I was received with a warm smile by a petite waiter. The recommended dishes here include the Pan Fried Foie Gras, Mussels from Brussels, Escargots, and Pacific Oysters. The dishes came beautifully adorned and hand decorated by Chef Alain, who is also the owner of the restaurant.

This meal impressed us with its fresh ingredients. The large mussels from the oyster bar section were particularly fresh. The first bite revealed the taste of sweet juicy mussels that proliferated my taste buds. I practically finished the entire plate by myself… Which isn’t something that I’ll be mentioning to my doctor next time as he’s been warning me about my cholesterol level (mussels are my favorite!).

At the end of our meal, we sat around and drank some Belgium beer. The most interesting ones were the Floris chocolate, which my friend ordered. I myself tried the Duvel as recommended by the waiter. It’s a gold beer of a slightly higher degree, producing a new taste for me. As the night grew older, the music became more inviting as the bar area filled up with guys drinking beer and immersing in their conversations. The dining area was also packed with both small and large parties. I couldn’t help but observe the large group of people in the next table over, as they ordered several dishes and enjoyed each other’s company.
