Cycling trip to refresh the mind

Oil prices are expensive so we must consider ways to save gas, to save money and to take care of the environment as we have attacked the world with many forms of emissions. Travel by bicycle is one option that can be done by yourself and here is one example of a trip I took riding a bicycle tour in Phuket - Phangnga.

After the tsunami, I volunteered to help with the handling of donations received from Bangkok and while on a boat to collect the bodies of the victims I had the opportunity to talk to the victims of Ban Nam Khem in Phang Nga. At that time there was almost nothing left so when I had the opportunity to persuade friends who have a love of cycling to visit the victims of the tsunami again everything came together. This cycling with friends started with people bringing bicycles from Bangkok to Phuket International Airport and biking with sightseeing in Phuket as a recreational cyclist.

The next day, the cycling started from Phuket early in the morning to Phang Nga. The route from Phuket to Phang Nga was over the hills and mountains of Phuket and through Phang Nga that has hills but also flat in many sections. We stopped by a restaurant at a resort in Ban Nam Khem in Phang Nga and met with the owners of the bungalows before the tsunami. We talked for awhile and could see what happened. Many travelers went back to town or never left due to the losses but after visiting you will have a greater understanding, learning experience and access to the community that tourism is of great value.

Throughout the cycling we traveled many sites and I feel that the cycling route Phuket - Phang Nga is the best path that many cyclists will enjoy. There are many types of terrain such as the hills, mountains, flat sections and the weather was good even despite the muggy conditions but we did have the forest and wind to provide us with comfort. I would like to see the promotion of Eco-tourism for tourists more in the future. I have suggested for cycling that people should choose a bike similar to the one for spinning as a race bike is not suitable and the spinning bike seat should be more comfortable or some may choose a mountain bike as some bikes may have a rear-view mirror or signals for protection.

Appropriate clothing should be worn such as an armband, tight pants, shoes for cyclists, sunglasses as the wind or debris can get into the eyes, and non-slip gloves in case of a fall and to avoid hand abrasions. You should have a banana and water supply on hand. The banana contains very important mineral called potassium that is needed when you exercise the body as you lose some potassium through sweat and urine as well as it is very good for extra energy that is used on a long bike ride. The water does not necessarily have to be mineral water and the banana can be a dried banana for easy eating.
